Men's Soccer Season Update

After having a rough start to the season, the ARC Men's Soccer Team looks to be heading in a positive direction. The team has a current record of 3-5-2. We are so far undefeated at home, with only 1 goal made against the beavers on the home field.

Joan Garcia is the leading goal scorer for the men, with 4 goals. Goalkeeper Chris Sampo is having a solid season and is the backbone of the team.

The biggest rivalry game of the area is when ARC plays Cosumnes River College. The first match up happened on Tuesday, September 25th at ARC. The Beavers dominated the entire game, being 1 goal ahead, letting up in the last five minutes to let the Hawks tie the game.

Under the strong leadership of Dalton Cantanzaro and Chris Sampo as team captains, the team has a strong spirit and the drive to win. Even though the team is young and has a lot of new faces, the talent is promising as the coaching staff continues to develop the players to their full potential.

The Beavers' next game is on Friday 9/28 at 4:00 pm at home versus Santa Rosa Community College.
