American River men claim 11th straight Big 8 Conference title
The American River men’s cross country team continued its dominance of the Big 8 Conference winning their 11th straight title under wet footing but dry skies Friday on the American River 4.04 mile campus course.

Capitol Cross Country Challenge
Daniel Ambriz of American River was the first Beaver to cross the finish line stopping the clock at 25:19 for the 5 mile grass course. He outkicked Ozzie Hassen who finished 5 places back in 25:22.

Modesto Invitational
Eight days after their best meet of the season thus far, the Beavers “B” team made the trip to Modesto for a NorCal Preview of sorts missing only a few of the teams making up Northern California.

Lou Vasquez Invitational
After suffering their first loss to a NorCal community college since November 2009, the Beavers bounced back and took out the competition at the Lou Vasquez Invitational in Golden Gate Park.

Men's Cross Country Fresno Invitational
The American River men’s cross country team suffered its’ first loss to a Northern California community college since November 2009 last Saturday at the Fresno Invitational.

NorCal Preview Invitational
Sierra College Cross Country Course The shorthanded American River College men’s cross country team held off Hartnell College in an early season battle of Northern California powerhouses at the NorCal Preview.
