Over the spring break ARC Swim & Dive competed in the Big 8 Conference championships, the fastest conference meet in the state. ARC Women finished 4th overall with 5 new school records and 3 conference champions! Sophomore Amy Crayne won both the 1 & 3 Meter diving events for Big 8 and Nor Cal Championships while setting 2 new school records. She and both her team mates Ari Miggins of Saint Francis and Rachel Bueller of Natomas Charter qualifies for the state meet by finishing top 8. Freshman Mackenzie Ayala set a new school record and won the women's 200 back in a time of 2:09 and is currently seeded 2nd in the state for 200 back, she finished 2nd in both the 200 IM and the 100 Back and has earned herself a trip to the state championships! Team mates Valeria Ugaz will join her swimming fly and relays as well as Cassidy Barry swimming short free and relays, Laura Heberle Swimming Breast and relays with Kiara Green founding our the relays. All swimmers swam at least 2 personal best times and played a big part in contributing to the team's success.
