Former Beaver QB Tanner Trosin was named Southern Oregon University's Outstanding Offensive Performer for the 2015 season after leading the Raiders to the NAIA national championship game in December. With Southern Oregon in 2015, Trosin passed for 2,709 yards and 15 TDS. He was also the Raiders' leading rusher with 855 yards and 12 TDS.

Trosin recently completed 24 of 40 passes for 209 yards and two touchdowns in the annual spring game at Raider Stadium. It marked the end of four weeks of spring practice for Southern Oregon, ranked No. 2 in the NAIA spring poll. The Raiders open the 2016 season on Sept. 3 at Eastern Oregon.

As a sophomore at ARC in 2014, Trosin passed for 2,268 yards and 20 TDs in leading the Beavers to a 10-2 record. The Beavers lost to City College of San Francisco 17-14 in the NorCal championship game.
