The American River College Football program opened conference play on Saturday with a 33-22 victory over Shasta College.
Behind a strong first half defensive performance and a offense that saw running back Elias Brown rush for a touchdown, quarterback Jett Harris rush for a touchdown and throw two touchdowns including a pair of 11 yarders to Jadon Anderson and Luis Torres, the Beavers were able to improve to 1-0 in confernce and 3-3 overall.
The Beavers will now prepare to travel to #2 Butte College on Saturday, October 26th, at 1 PM.
