ARC Men’s Swim & Dive Finish Runner-Up at Cuesta Super Invite
The ARC Men's Swim and Dive team delivered a strong overall performance this weekend, finishing 2nd out of 20 teams at the Cuesta Super Invite.
Sophomore Justin Hsieh led the way for ARC with an exceptional meet. He recorded season-best times in four of his five events and finished in the top three in each of those races. His consistent high finishes earned him 4th place overall in the meet's high-point standings, highlighting his impact across multiple events.
Several other ARC sophomores also posted impressive swims with multiple season-best performances. Arian Mutschlerturned in one of the team's top swims of the weekend in the 200 butterfly, clocking a 2:00.03 to finish 3rd overall, narrowly missing the two-minute barrier.
In the breaststroke events, Noonan placed 3rd in the 100 breaststroke and 7th in the 200 breaststroke, while Sayoadded depth with a 7th-place finish in the 100 breaststroke and 9th in the 200 breaststroke.
The ARC divers also made key contributions to the team's runner-up finish. Lucas Von Hagel had an outstanding showing, placing 2nd on both boards, while Stephen Ortego finished 4th on one board and 6th on the other, adding valuable points for the Beavers.
With strong individual performances, season-best swims, and solid contributions from the diving squad, the ARC men demonstrated impressive depth and competitiveness in a talented 20-team field at the Cuesta Super Invite
