Congratulations to the ARC Men's and Women's Swim/Dive team on another great CCCAA State Meet. Women's team swam great and finished 9th. Ashely Johnson won 3M and 1M boards. The girls competed and kept getting better throughout the weekend. 

The Mens team finished 3rd in the closest 3 team event in CCCAA history. Mt Sac and Sierra tied at 421 for fist and we were 3rd at 418. Yes 3 points….crazy. 

Rarely in a 3/4 day NCAA format event does the meet come down to the 400 Free relay at the end. It took several minutes to confirm the scoring and also the DQ in that final heat. You could feel the energy and anxiety waiting for the results.

The dynamics through out the 3 days were something that I had not experienced before. Sadly for my ARC men our top swimmer had the flu and did not swim 2 of his primary events. He won all 3 of his individual swims last year and is the current 200 back CCCAA record holder in the 200 back. He's pretty fast. 

My guys rallied and swam out of their minds to stay in it. The ARC diving crew, our Air Force, was impressive on both boards. Justin Hsieh won the 100 free and led the 200 Free relay to gold as well. ARC Strong!
