Bio

Prior to ARC: Attended Weil Academy in Ojai, CA. Before coming to the U.S. he was state champion in doubles and Best-8 Tournament U18 singles champion of Extremadura, Spain.

2023-24: Went 15-11 in singles and 21-12 in doubles on the season… Won the ITA Regional doubles title and reached the quarterfinals of the singles… Won the Flight 1 doubles title at the MJC Invitational… Won the doubles title at the Big 8 Conference Championships and reached the semifinals of the singles… Reached the semifinals in doubles at the Individual State Championships at Ojai… Had important singles victories in singles against Joan Garros (Jessup) 1-6, 6-3, 6-2, Matias Lapidus (SBCC) 7-5, 6-4, Will Dau (RC) 6-4, 6-7(4), 10-7, and David Budziwojski (FH) 6-4, 7-5… Had important doubles wins against Junghanns/Morel 8-5, Lauinger/Yackovich (BKS) 8-5, Quinonez/Cho (CHA) 8-5, Quinonez/Waghray (CHA) 8-2, Friedman/Martin (OCC) 5-7, 6-4, 10-8, and Abreu/Emery (VC) 6-2, 3-6, 10-6… Was selected to the Big 8 All-Conference 1st Team… Chosen as an ITA All-American in doubles… Finished the season with state rankings of #27 in singles and #4 in doubles (w/ Sonntag).

2024-25: Went 23-10 in singles and 20-10 in doubles on the season, primarily at the #1 and #2 singles positions and the #1 doubles spot… Won the ITA Regional singles title and reached the final in the doubles… Competed at the ITA Cup in singles and doubles,

finishing in 6th place at the national event in singles and 8th in doubles… Won the Flight 2 singles title and the Flight 1 doubles title at the MJC Invitational… Reached the final of the Big 8 Conference Championships in doubles… Reached the round of 16 in singles and doubles at the Individual Championships at Ojai… Had significant singles victories over Abdala Quintero (FH) 6-4, 1-6, 10-8, Gavin Sonntag (ARC) 6-4, 3-6, 10-5, Tarang Sharma (ARC) 6-4, 6-1, Michael Chang (RCC) 7-5, 7-5, and Haru Nakayama (VC) 6-4, 4-6, 6-1… Had important doubles wins over Arendt/Moley (ARC) 8-3 and Beaudry/Van Besien (VC) 6-0, 6-2… Selected as Big 8 All-Conference 1st Team… Selected as ITA All-American in singles… Finished the season ranked #10 in singles and #10 in doubles in the state… In his storied career at ARC he was an ITA Doubles All-American (2024), an ITA Singles All-American (2025), a two-time Big 8 Conference 1st Team selection, won a Big 8 Conference doubles title, won an ITA Regional Championship singles title, was an ITA Regional Championship doubles titlist and earned 79 career match victories for the Beavers.
