James Hubbard took over the state lead in the hammer with a heave of 194'. Robert Ellis won the 100m in a state leading time of 10.42, but subsequently strained his hamstring leaning for the finish line. This injury definitely put the remainder of his season in jeopardy. Devan Sawyer and Shawn Simms finished 5-6 in the 200m in 21.63 and 21.64. Richard Finical again dipped into the 48's with a time of 48.38 in the 400m. Luis Luna ran a season PR in the 1500m in 3:56.53 (ran 15:04 in the 5k later in the meet). He was followed closely by a pack of Beavers (Xavier Gaulman 3:56.99, Abdul Hamid 3:57.60, and Epi Nunez 3:59.70). Cambron Lyles dipped below 15 in the college highs for the first time running 14.97. Sean Gregg won the steeple in 9:26.12. The 4x100 was won by the Beavers in 40.68. Edwin Matthews won the high jump in 6'9.5". Shawn Simms won the long jump in 23'.
