Robert Ellis of ARC won the 100m in 10.67, while the Beaver's Andre Woodson placed 3rd in a season best 10.74. The defending 800m state champion, Logan Stahl of ARC, overcame an early season hip injury to get a season PR in the 800m and win the event in 1:53.55. David French took 2nd in 1:54.70. Another winner for the Beavers was Sean Gregg in the 3000m steeplechase. He ran a state leading 9:37.24 in his steeple debut. Aidan Schraer was 2nd in his debut in 9:58.86, providing another 1-2 punch for the Beavers. The men's 4x100m relay team moved up to #2 in the state with a win in 40.79, 3rd best on the ARC all-time list. The 4x400m relay provided the highlight of the end of the meet when the Beavers took the title in a state leading 3:11.34 (#4 all-time at ARC). The team ran splits of 49.5 (Richard Finical), 47.7 (Devan Sawyerr), 48.2 (Shawn Simms), and 45.6 (Robert Ellis). Another event the Beavers went 1-2 was the High Jump where Edwin Matthews beat teammate Xavier Howell on misses with both athletes clearing 6'9-1/2". Decathlete Jeff Lam placed 2nd in the pole vault, improving from 11'6" as a freshman to 15'4-1/2" Saturday. Shawn Simms also placed 2nd in the long jump in 22'10-3/4" – missing the State "A" standard by 1'1/4". ARC's James Hubbard won the Discus and Hammer with throws of 161'2" and 174'3" respectively.
