College of San Mateo

The American River College men's track & field team captured third place at the state championships this past weekend in San Mateo. Under cloudy, cold and drizzly skies the Beavers were running short handed with several key injuries. State champion, Xavier Howell won the high jump (6'11.5"). He just missed a few very good attempts at a school record 7' ¼". We had 8 All-Americans:
