ARC Men’s Team Capture the 2025 NorCal Cross Country Championship Title
FRESNO, Calif. — November 7, 2025 — The American River College Beavers men's cross country squad turned in a strong performance at the 2025 3C2A NorCal Championships held Friday at Woodward Park in Fresno. The meet served as the regional championship for NorCal, drawing top college cross-country programs from across the region.
Freshman sensation Cameron Mobley led the way for ARC, capturing second place in the men's 4-mile race with a blazing time of 20:35.00. Trailing close behind was Sophomore Cyrus Justiniani, who finished third overall in 20:44.63, giving ARC a strong 2–3 finish that set the tone for the team.
Behind the top two, the Beavers' depth showed. Tyler Farnworth had a massive personal best on the course from Freshman year to place ninth in a time of 21:17.39 and Owen Wiseley in fifteen with a time of 21:27.47 — an encouraging sign of the program's balance and breadth. The combination of top-end talent and team depth allowed ARC to post one of its strongest showings of the season.
Head coach Matt Airola praised the team's effort: "Having both a veteran leader and a freshman step up like this shows how far we've come." The result demonstrates that ARC is not just relying on one standout, but building a competitive, deep squad with a bright future.
With this performance, ARC now looks ahead to the 2025 state meet, eager to carry the momentum forward into championship competition.
