ARC Finishes Strong at Big 8 Swim Championships

ARC delivered an outstanding performance at the Big 8 Swim Championships, earning a 2nd place team finish through a complete team effort from start to finish. Every athlete qualified for finals and contributed valuable points toward the team score, showcasing the depth and determination of the program.

The ARC divers set the tone early in the meet with dominant performances. Ashley Johnson captured championships on both boards, while Bridget Adams and Arie Black each earned top-8 finishes on both boards to give ARC an early boost.

ARC also took control of the 100 IM, sweeping the top three spots in impressive fashion. Samoylovich led the way with a 1st place finish, followed by Maldonado in 2nd and Hanson in 3rd.

The distance crew continued the momentum in the 1650 Free, where Ashby, Vlahos, and Contreras all advanced to finals and scored key team points.

Amber Inderkum and Jacquie Clouser turned in exceptional all-around performances by finishing in the top 8 in all three of their individual events. Amber placed among the conference's best in the 100 Breast, 200 Breast, and 200 IM, while Jacquie earned top finishes in the 100 Back, 50 Free, and 100 Free.

The women's 800 Free Relay highlighted the meet for ARC relays, earning a 2nd place finish while dropping an impressive 12 seconds from their previous time.

With strong performances across every event group, ARC's runner-up finish reflected the hard work, depth, and competitive spirit of the entire team.
