ARC Women Place 10th at CCCAA State Swim & Dive Championships

The ARC women's swim and dive team capped off an outstanding season with a 10th place finish at the 2026 CCCAA State Swim & Dive Championships, highlighted by dominant diving performances, lifetime best swims, and a promising freshman class that sets the stage for the future of the program.

Leading the way was Ashley Johnson, who swept both the 1-meter and 3-meter diving events to earn CCCAA Diver of the Year honors. Fellow diver Bridget Adams delivered the best meet of her career, placing 6th on 1-meter and an impressive 3rd on 3-meter to give ARC a major boost in team scoring.

In the pool, Sasha Samoylovich had a phenomenal championship meet, finishing in the top 8 in all three of her individual events — the 100 IM, 200 IM, and 100 Breast — while moving up in finals in each event.

Anabel Gardea Maldonado competed in the 100 IM, 200 IM, and 100 Breast, qualifying for consolation finals in all three events and contributing valuable points for the Beavers.

Ella Hanson
represented ARC in the 50 Free, 100 Free, and 100 IM, earning a consolation finals appearance in the 100 IM.

Jacquie Clouser competed in the 50 Free, 100 Free, and 100 Back, qualifying for consolation finals in the 100 Back after a strong preliminary swim.

Amber Inderkum raced in the 100 Breast, 200 Breast, and 100 IM, highlighted by a lifetime best swim in the 200 Breast that earned her a spot in the consolation finals.

The women's 800 Free Relay team of Maldonado, Vlahos, Ashby, and Hanson finished 8th overall while all four swimmers posted lifetime best splits. The relay was also ARC's only relay to earn a medal at the state meet.

With contributions across every event group and a roster built around a strong freshman class, the Beavers showed tremendous depth, determination, and potential throughout the championship meet. The 2026 state championships marked not only a successful finish to the season, but also an exciting foundation for next year's team.
