Friday night at Sierra College was the place to be for Beavers fans. Defeating the Sierra Wolverines 3 sets to 0 (25-22, 25-17, 25-8), the Beavers continued their conference season long winning streak. Opening the first set the Beavers took a slow tempo offensively with a combined team hitting a .182. In the second and thirds sets, the Beavers found that aggressive momentum that keeps them undefeated. Serving was a big factor in the third set, allowing the Beavers to make their lead more prominent. Setter Monica Udahl lead the team with 16 serving attempts, while Erika Jones led the team with 3 serving aces and second with 14 serving attempts. This game the noted game leaders were Setter/Right Side Leila Whaley; hitting a .667, Middle Blocker Erianna Williams; hitting 0.429, and Middle Blocker Courtney Macklin; hitting a .389. The Beavers wrap up the first half of conference on the road this upcoming Wednesday October 22 taking on Diablo Valley.
