On November 25th, the Beavers traveled down to Fresno for the first round of playoffs. The Beavers felt excited in the build-up to the game, flowing in warmups.

The first set went by like a flash. The Beavs struggled with their defense, with many blocking and digging errors. Offensively, both teams found a lot of rhythm. Since Fresno City found so much success in their defense, they were able to stay in rallies for longer. The Beavers lost the set in a wild 6-25.

The second and third sets were a lot more evenly matched in activation. Finding more success in their defensive moves, the Beavers were able to flow through and earn back some ground in the second set. Despite playing much better than they did in the first set, they finished the set 22-25. Similarly, they finished the third set 20-25. The Beavers closed out their season with a fight. Coming back from a slow start, they stayed together through it all and finished well.
