The American River College women's water polo team won the 2013 NorCal Championship this past weekend.  The women went undefeated this season in NorCal play with a perfect 12-0 record.  In the NorCal Championship Tournament American River College beat Santa Rosa 11-2 in the semi-finals and defeated Sierra College in the championship game 7-4.  Freshman Emily Perry earned tournament MVP with 4 goals, 7 steals, an assist and 1 drawn ejection.  Goalie Avery Dotterer was also a part of the All Tournament team.  The coaching staff was awarded NorCal staff of the year to end a great weekend of play.  The ARC women's water polo team now advances as the #1 seed from NorCal to the final four State Tournament, played this week in Riverside.
