ARC opened their 2013 Big 8 Conference schedule with an 8-4 win over Santa Rosa. The Beavers were down 1-0 after missing 9 attempts on goal at the end of the first quarter. To open the second quarter freshman Michal Andreatta drew an ejection and scored the man up. The beavers went on to score 3 more unanswered goals, going into half time 4-1. Sophomore Kristin Boston was the primary defender with 7 steals and allowing no goals out of center. Freshman goalie Avery Dotterer had an excellent game with 3 assist in the small pool, 3 steals and 15 blocks. Scoring for ARC- Andreatta 4, Whittall 2, Boston 1, and Perry 1.
