The ARC women's water polo team wrapped up their season yesterday at the Nor Cal Championships in thrilling fashion! On Friday, the Beavers defeated Sierra College 9-3 to advance to the Nor Cal semifinals. After a very exciting and very physical match-up, the Beavers fell one goal short of getting to the State Championships for back-to-back seasons, losing to Foothill 8-7. ARC would go on to face San Joaquin Delta College in the 3rd place game. After trailing 2-0, ARC would go on to defeat Delta in a thriller as sophomore Emily Perry (Rio Americano HS) won the game in overtime with a buzzer-beating goal!!
