ARC women's water polo opened their conference schedule with a win over Fresno City, 15-8 at Fresno.  Sophomore Hayley Cates lead the team in scoring with 5 goals, and a pair each of steals, assists and ejections drawn.   In her first game of the season freshman Hannah Zari out of Bella Vista HS scored a pair of goals from center.  Adding to the scoring were freshman Savannah Liffring with 3 goals, Haley Dutton with 3, Lily Van Rees with 1 and sophomore Rya Minow with 1.  Freshman goal keeper Ainslee Lewis had 8 blocks and 2 steals.  The Beavers next game face conference opponent DVC Wednesday 9/23 and then leave for the Mt Sac Tournament in Southern California.
