The American River College Women's Water Polo program returned to Big 8 Conference action as they traveled to take on Diablo Valley College.
The Beavers rallied from seven goals down to nearly win the match, but ultimately fell by a final score of 10-7. The Beavers were led by Sydney Mitchell, Amber Inderkum, and Claire Contreras who each were credited with two goals.
With the loss the Beavers drop to 0-3 in conference play and will prepare to travel to take on Santa Rosa Junior College on Wednesday, October 9th, at 3:30 PM.
