The American River College men’s track & field team capped a fantastic season by finishing 5th at the State Championships. The Beavers were led by 2nd place finishes from several athletes including freshman Conor Wells in the 1500m (3:57.13).

With the Multi-events completed two weeks ago, it was the 10,000m that was the only scoring event of the Trials portion of the NorCal Championships on a rainy Friday at Chabot College in Hayward. The Beavers of American River obviously liked the rain taking 28 of the 39 points available in the 10k.
Big 8 Conference Championships

The American River College men’s track & field team won their 6th consecutive Big 8 Conference championship on Thursday and are now in pursuit of getting back the NorCal crown they lost last year, after a 4-year run at #1 in the North.
UC Davis Aggie Open

The ARC sprinters, jumpers and throwers all stayed in Northern California to compete at the UC Davis Aggie Open. Windy and rainy conditions hampered the events all day long, but the Beavers stuck it out and saw a few PRs.
Occidental Distance Carnival – Los Angeles

The American River men’s distance runners and pole vaulters travelled to Los Angeles and didn’t disappoint as the Beavers lit it up scoring personal records and season best from nearly every athlete.

The American River College men’s track & field team won their second meet in a row by taking the NorCal Preview at Chabot College Friday.
Men's Track & Field Coast Conference Preview

The American River College men’s track & field team made the four hour trip Saturday morning to Monterey Peninsula College for their opening track & field competition of the year. Even after the long, early morning trip, the Beavers came out swinging by taking the state lead in the first event of the day and also easily outdistancing 2nd place De Anza by a score of 280.5 for the Beavers and 91.5 for De Anza.
